BEFORE
The spacious kitchen had outdated linoleum flooring and tile countertops. The countertop grout was so dirty from years of use, it had turned a dark gray color. The kitchen island was obviously undersized, which gave the whole space an awkward appearance. The once beautiful cabinets had visible signs of wear and tear and now in need of rejuvenation.
AFTER
After receiving a facelift that was overdue, the kitchen was transformed into a gorgeous space once again. New granite countertops were installed in a color that complimented the cabinetry. The old cabinets were re-stained and the once undersized island was replaced with a massive granite slab. Gone was the old linoleum flooring and replaced with neutral porcelain tiles that led all the way back to the front entry-way. With the proper staged furniture and décor now in place, this kitchen became a show stopper.
BEFORE
The entire kitchen was in desperate need of a good cleaning from top to bottom. The vertical blinds at the sliding glass door were damaged, dingy and needed adjustment.
AFTER
The gas cooktop was cleaned and serviced, as well as the double ovens. A new kitchen sink was installed with an updated faucet. With a new granite island, there was now room for a breakfast bar in addition to a more defined space for the nook table. The vertical blinds were professionally cleaned and repaired.
BEFORE
It was obvious the large family room would be a key selling feature for this project. The carpet was covered with stains and hadn’t been kept up in years. The baseboards were also chipped and damaged in several areas. The once majestic roman shades over the large windows were dull and in inoperable condition.
AFTER
The family room carpeting was replaced with a lighter more neutral color. The roman shades over the expansive windows that overlooked the backyard were cleaned and repaired. All the baseboards were repaired or replaced and then repainted. The fireplace was cleaned and the precast mantel received several coats of new semi-gloss paint.
BEFORE
The entry-way had original dated tile flooring that stopped short of old musty and soiled carpeting. Sections of the baseboards were missing or damaged. The drywall was also damaged in several areas and the walls were covered in dirt. After viewing the rest of the home, it was obvious it would require a fresh coat of interior paint for the home to be in sellable condition.
AFTER
The entry way had a grand feel upon entering the home. You were greeted with large beautiful porcelain tile flooring that now continued into the kitchen and nook areas. The drywall was patched, textured, repainted and the missing baseboards were replaced. The entire home was also repainted with a neutral color paint scheme.
BEFORE
The wood railings of the staircase were covered in dirt and grime. Fortunately, the railing’s protectant finish was still intact, and all that was needed was a good cleaning to bring the wood back to its original luster. The carpeting on the staircase had reached the end of its life, as there were numerous stains and tears in several locations.
AFTER
The staircase railings had been deep cleaned and resealed to bring back their original shine. The soiled carpeting had been replaced at the staircase and throughout the entire house as well. The light fixtures at the entry-way and staircase landing were cleaned and polished to bring back the original ambient lighting once again.
