We’ll make an appointment to assess your home’s current condition and get a feel for the surrounding neighborhood. This initial meeting is to determine what upgrades could be implemented to increase your home’s maximum sales price. Initially, we look for things that would make the property unfinanceable, like: extensive dry rot, a roof that’s exceeded its life, foundation issues, and mold caused by water intrusion. Secondly, we’ll look to make cosmetic upgrades that don’t cost a lot, yet substantially increase the home’s sales price. Once we’ve had a chance to preview your property, we’ll return to the office and run a competitive market analysis by accessing the most recent sales, pending, and active listings. We’ll make a second appointment with you and explain your home’s current value, the renovations we suggest and what you could expect to sell for.
